Rosalio A. Aragon Jr. is Assistant Professor 7 at the School of Labor and Industrial Relations of the University of the Philippines in Diliman. He holds a Juris Doctor; M.A. in Education with specialization in Special Education; and a Diploma in Industrial Relations, all from the University of the Philippines.
He practices his law profession with focus on labor law and advocacy. He served as Legal Counsel of the University of Philippines System for more than a decade before joining the academe as Assistant Professor. He also served as the Chair of the Office for Student Ethics in the University of the Philippines for several years.
He was a consultant for the Internationalization Committee of the Commission on Higher Education. He was appointed as a Labor Representative to the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board for the National Capital Region.
Atty. Aragon’s research interests include studying labor unions and their members; alternative dispute resolution; collective bargaining; and rights of persons with disability.
He is a recipient of the three-year cycle One UP Faculty Grant Award for Outstanding Teaching and Public Service.
