Workers' Institute on Labor Laws (WILL)

The WILL is a three-day institutional training program offered by UP SOLAIR that aims to introduce Philippine labor law to the public. This compressed and introductory course in labor law is premised on UP SOLAIR’s commitment to empower labor; democratize and humanize industrial relations; and promote social justice. 

The program aims to:

• Provide a foundational understanding of the Philippine Labor Code and related labor legislation;

• Develop practical skills in applying labor law concepts, principles, and processes in the workplace; and

• Foster discussions on labor law practices and industrial relations through sharing of experiences. 

It is comprised of sessions which practically span the entirety of the Labor Code topics, from labor rights and management prerogatives, wages and working conditions, termination of employment relations, labor unions, collective bargaining, strikes and lockouts, to the settlement of labor disputes.

The WILL is periodically delivered through both onsite and online sessions.
