The Certificate Course in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management (IRHR) is a training program of the UP School of Labor and Industrial Relations (UP SOLAIR) through the Center for Industry Productivity and Competitiveness (CIPC), designed to provide comprehensive and practice-based knowledge in labor relations and human resource development/management.
The program aims to equip participants with accurate, relevant, and lawful knowledge and best practices on labor laws, workplace relations, and HR systems, enabling them to effectively navigate the complexities of the modern work environment. It also seeks to strengthen participants’ understanding of the employment relationship within both national and global contexts, emphasizing the importance of ethical, strategic, and people-centered approaches in managing organizations.

Structure and Contents
The IRHR Certificate Course runs for 12 Saturdays and is delivered through a series of interactive lecture sessions, case discussions, applied learning activities, and group dynamics/ networking, culminating in a capstone project presentation.

Participants who successfully complete the course requirements, including attendance, evaluations, and the capstone project, will be awarded a Certificate of Completion issued by the University of the Philippines Diliman - School of Labor and Industrial Relations (UP SOLAIR).
